MINISTRY DONATION

A former board member of Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) and businessman, Mr Chakanyuka Karase, donated $Z100 000 to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism to raise awareness on the pitfalls of destroying the environment.

Environment and Tourism Minister, Cde F.D. Nhema received the donation on behalf of the ministry. He commended the former ZTA board member and said, "Government alone cannot be expected to protect the environment. It needs corporate and individual efforts to realize these objectives."
